>>>I am thrilled that it’s Thursday. It has been QUITE a week and I have to admit, I’ve been a little out of my element. I’ve been beating myself up, feeling extra emotional, freaking out on the inside about dumb, insignificant things. I had a brilliant snap back to reality before finishing this post – (partially thanks to a long talk with my mom!) ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I literally stopped myself and had to put an end to the negative thinking. I have all that I need – mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually. I have all that I need and more, and I’m so glad I have this weekly post because it reminded me of little things TO be happy about. To be thankful for. To feel blessed by.
>>>The rest of this week and this weekend will not have the same approach the past few days had. Today and the rest of the week will be full of peace, rather than full of anxiety. It will be full of positive words, rather than mean voices in my head. It will be full of strength. I’m reminded of this simple verse: Joy is love’s strength, peace is love’s security, goodness is love’s character, faith is love’s confidence. THAT is what this week(end) will be all about: joy, peace, goodness, faith and love. The other stuff, the mental garbage and chaos, will be put to rest. Enjoy your Thursday, stay positive! And thanks for reminding me to do the same – xo!

32 THINGS TO ALWAYS REMEMBER AND NEVER FORGET: Your presence is a present to the world. You are unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be. Take the days just one at a time. Count your blessings, not your troubles. Be present and live in the moment.
Nothing lasts forever; this too will pass. Know that you will make it through whatever struggle comes your way. Don’t put limits on yourself. So many opportunities are waiting to be realized. Decisions are too important to leave to chance. You are human, making mistakes is inevitable, they help you grow.
Nothing wastes more energy than worrying. The longer you carry a problem, the heavier it becomes. Don’t take things too seriously, learn to laugh. Live a life of serenity instead of a life of regret.
Remember that a little love goes a long way. Remember that a lot of love can last forever. Remember that friendship is a wise investment. Remember that when you feel alone, you always have the power to reach out, and that someone will, reach back.
Realize that it’s never too late; Life doesn’t have a timeline or an expiration date. Realize that you may get off course, but that life has no set path. Your have the power to pave your own path, and there is no right or wrong way to go.
And don’t ever forget…even for a day…How special you are. That you exist in this world, and therefore you matter. That you have a voice, and have the right to speak. You are seen and heard.
But most importantly, that you are loved. Know that you deserve love.
That you have always deserved love. And will always deserve to be loved.
>>>Easter is more than pastel eggs and bunnies. He is risen!
>>>Happy Easter to each and every one of you! I hope you are spending time with the people that mean the most to you, but more importantly celebrating truly what a gift life is. I love this Robert Flatt quote: The resurrection gives my life meaning and direction and the opportunity to start over no matter what my circumstances. The opportunity to start over, my friends. To be grateful, to be alive, to be aware of everything we are offered. Although it’s my first Easter not with the whole family clan searching for eggs and enjoying home-cooked meal, I am feeling overwhelmed with blessing and joy. Life is full of amazing grace.
