Thursday Thankful List

“Only he who gives thanks for little things receives the big things.”

Today I’m remembering these words by Dietrich Bonhoeffer and why it’s so important to count, remember and embrace the little things we are thankful for on a daily basis. If we don’t say thank you for the small things we are given in life, why do we expect to receive big things in return? It doesn’t work that way. I’m a firm believer that those who are thankful for the small receive the big {thanks for the reminder Dietrich!} He continues: “We pray for the big things and forget to give thanks for the ordinary, small (and yet really not small) gifts.”

Today, don’t forget to say thank you for the ordinary! Here’s a few things I’m thankful for this week –
