How to be a Better (Happier & Healthier) Human Being

This is too beautiful not to share. My favorites? Be present, confront any challenging situation first with a deep breath, wander, don’t be embarrassed to feel, do what you love, remember that you always {ALWAYS} have a choice, and find joy in what life really is.

Great food for thought except that I have to take issue whenever I hear the advice that “our own happiness and comfort comes first.” Our world would be in a very sorry state if everyone lived Me First and thus a lot less happy people. Have you never done something for someone else or a charity or civic organization where your heart wasn’t in it but afterwords you were awfully glad you stepped up? No one would ever go to a funeral or step in a nursing home hospice or psychic ward if they waited until they felt comfortable.
