seattle snapshots

“to some extent, seattle remains a frontier metropolis, a place where people can experiment with their lives, and change and grow and make things happen.” – tom robbins

in early october, i took a trip to seattle and it was definitely one of my favorite long weekends. i was visiting my college roommate and good friend, ashley, and spent the weekend laughing hysterically, eating a-mazing meals {including revel in fremont for dinner and milstead and co. for coffee}, staying up too late, drinking lots of wine and soaking up the joy in catching up. we did some exploring on friday {check out those kites at gas works!} and spent all afternoon on saturday was spent sailing on lake union and sunday morning enjoying a tourist-y breakfast at pike’s market. i actually didn’t take too many photos that weekend because i wanted to spend more time actually enjoying each moment rather than capture it on my phone, BUT i’m super thankful i have a few. check through those small circles in the upper right to see more pics from the weekend!

where’s your favorite place to go for a long weekend? have you been to seattle?
